Lower Penvose was once a tenant farm on the Caerhayes estate, no longer a working farm,  the hospitable Bennett family have lived in the farmhouse here for nearly 25 years and offer self catering and B&B accommodation. It is half a mile from the beach at West Portholland and up a quiet country lane. All are welcome here, walkers, cyclists, bikers, families, and couples or singles. Visitors will have the benefit of local knowledge, friendly advice and information about the area .

The Granary is on the first floor of the traditional stone barn, and south facing.
It is approached from the garden up the original stone steps that led to the upper floor of the barn. The front opens into a large L space comprising sitting, dining and fitted kitchen area. A small lobby leads to the shower room and wc.
One bedroom faces south to the sea and has a double bed, the other bedroom has full size bunk-beds and looks across the fields to the neighbouring farm.

Light and airy, it has stunning far reaching views across the valley and down towards the sea.Spectacular sunsets and beautiful cloud formations can all be experienced from here.

Watch birds flying over the fields in the evening to roost, enjoy the cows grazing the lush green fields or spot wisps of smoke in the distance from a campfire. On a clear night you can gaze at the stars, hear the surf, and listen to the owls hooting in the valley.
